Our story

Born at the edge of the Erg Chebbi dunes

Our adventure began in Merzouga, a small village nestled at the foot of Morocco’s highest dunes. Here, the desert is part of everyday life: it sets the rhythm of the days, shapes the landscape, and embodies a culture we are passionate about sharing with every visitor.

Driven by a love for our region, we wanted to create a unique way to discover the Sahara—far removed from rushed tours. We offer a more personal approach that fosters a genuine connection with the land, designed for those who wish to truly experience the desert rather than simply pass through it.

Today, Merzouga Escape guides travelers from around the world as they explore Merzouga through quad biking, buggy rides, 4x4 excursions, camel treks, and photography sessions that capture the desert’s most stunning light.
