3-Day Fes to Merzouga Desert Escape

Depart from Fes and travel through Ifrane and the Cedar Forest, where you can meet the Barbary macaques. Continue to Midelt for lunch before crossing the Atlas Mountains. Stop at a panoramic viewpoint overlooking the Ziz Valley, then continue through Erfoud, known for fossils and local crafts. Arrive in Merzouga and enjoy a camel ride across the Erg Chebbi dunes, followed by sunset and sandboarding. End the day with dinner, Berber music and a campfire before spending the night at a desert camp.
